How do I open a corporate/business account?

Yes, we provide corporate accounts. When submitting the application, please choose the account registration option "Corporate Account".

Along with the required documents for an individual account, corporate accounts—including LLC companies—are required to submit a copy of the certificate of incorporation for the business as evidence of business registration, and articles of organization, or a comparable official document, indicating that the signers are members of the corporation and authorised to set up the FXCM account.

Opening a corporate account is a simple process.

  1. Complete your application online in minutes.
    Once an application is received and processed, an account number will be sent by email within one to two business days. If you are issued a temporary ID, once the application is complete and funds are processed, a permanent account number will be sent.
  2. Submit a government issued photo ID for the Authorised Trader(s).
    This ID should also have the address listed on your application. Please note that a form of government issued ID and a proof of residence is needed for the Authorised Trader(s) and any shareholder or owner that owns more than 25% of the company. If one or more of the shareholders or owners is a Corporation, you will also need to submit full corporate documents for that entity. You may upload your documents to www.MyFXCM.com. Login using the account number and password emailed to you upon completion of the application. If you are unable to login to www.MyFXCM.com, you may also submit your documents as scanned images (JPG, GIF, BMP, DOC, PDF-no password protection please) to our new accounts department at admin@fxcm.co.uk, or via fax to 0800 014 8154 (UK residents) or +1 212 897 7669 (international).
  3. Submit a certificate of incorporation, articles of organization and share breakdown.
    You may upload your documents to www.MyFXCM.com. Login using the account number and password emailed to you upon completion of the application. If you are unable to login to www.MyFXCM.com, you may also submit your documents as scanned images (JPG, GIF, BMP, DOC, PDF-no password protection please) to our new accounts department at admin@fxcm.co.uk, or via fax to 0800 014 8154 (UK residents) or +1 212 897 7669 (international).
  4. FXCM strongly advises all corporate, Omnibus (OM), and White Label (WL) customers to provide an Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). Please email salessupport@fxcm.com with your LEI number and the name of your corporation. Please also list your account(s) held with FXCM. For more information on LEI, please click here.
  5. Fund your account.*
    Most clients find a debit card, credit card, or bank wire to be the fastest and easiest funding methods. Visit www.MyFXCM.com to submit your deposit. Once the application is complete and funds are processed, you can begin trading right away!

* There is a one-time account processing fee of 300 CCY [50,000 JPY] for the onboarding of Corporate, Partnership, and Trust accounts. This fee will be waived with an initial deposit of 50,000.00 CCY [5,000,000.00 JPY] or greater.
